Six science teachers from MSK and KHS attended the conference in Connecticut. Ken Wesson of the Institute for Systems Biology was keynote speaker. The goal of the conference: ”foster collaboration and better ensure that teachers are building their capacity as educators while also addressing expectations of students for science programs that are relevant and novel.” High school teachers join middle school teachers as part of STEMs initiatives and to further 21st Century Learning and Skills.
