Matthew Sylvanus was born and raised in Springvale, Maine, and has called the town of Arundel home for the past 10 years. Matt is currently employed with RR Donnelley & Sons as a senior account manager, working with clients around the globe. Prior to working with RR Donnelley, Matt was employed at Spencer Press Inc., in Wells, Maine. Matt served as chair of the Arundel School Board for one year and has been advocating for education for many years. Matt is married to Carolyn, a 15-year veteran teacher at the Middle School of the Kennebunks. Matt and Carolyn’s son Noah attends the Mildred L. Day School in Arundel. Matt enjoys hiking, swimming, and fishing with his family.
