Jason Saltmarsh is currently the director of technology at Maine Regional School Unit 21 and has been in this position since January 2006. Prior to this position, he served as an educational technology program manager for the Georgia Department of Education. Jason also worked in the software industry as a corporate training manager and software support specialist, where he travelled nationally to meet with clients. Jason has ten years of teaching experience at the elementary and middle school levels and has coached both middle school and high school athletic teams. He earned his MA in educational administration from the University of Massachusetts and his BA in history from Keene State College. Jason is involved in his local community youth sports programs. Jason and his wife Tina live on the New Hampshire seacoast with their two children: their daughter Abigail is a fifth-grader and their son Peyton is a second-grader. Jason is an avid runner and enjoys hiking, cross-country skiing, and spending time with his family and friends.
